Monday 23 January, 8.00am – 5.30pm
The National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery of Australia offer interested traders an exciting opportunity to connect with visual arts educators from around Australia.
Based in the national capital at the two premier national arts institutions, this conference will attract a diverse group of those interested in the place of art at the heart of learning in the nation. Trade tables are invited that promote quality resources and materials to support the wide range of needs and interests of visual art educators.

(add $100 for an additional exhibitor representative)

Location: Gandel Hall National Gallery of Australia
This new multipurpose venue is spacious and light-filled. The trade stalls will be set up around this space.
Access to delegates for the full day. This will be from registration at 8.00am to 5.30pm. The catering for delegates will also be served here for the whole day. At 5.00pm a special draw of prizes will be a feature

This reception follows on the trade show prize draw so offers an opportunity to continue your conversations with clients in a relaxed venue.
Set up: from 7.00am
Entry for set up: through Gandel Hall from the Australian Garden at the National Gallery of Australia. This entrance can be accessed from the carpark off Bowen Drive. Please see nga.gov.au/visiting/parking.html for a detailed map.

These will be stored until needed but please note that any left over material is the responsibility of the stall holder, they are unable to be held beyond 5.30pm on Monday 23 January and if not removed by the stall holder will be destroyed.

National Capital Educational Tourism Project (NCETP)
The NCETP aims to encourage teachers throughout Australia to understand the educational benefits of undertaking an excursion to the National Capital, by showcasing the programs offered by the National Capital Attractions. The NCETP deliver a range of programs and publications to familiarise teachers on the opportunities available in the National Capital. Learn about how an excursion to the National Capital can assist young Australians explore curriculum themes such as art and culture, history, science and civics and citizenship and find out how teachers can access the vast range of knowledge and resources the cultural institutions have to offer.
