Publications

Do you wish to publish your National Visual Arts Education Conference paper?

There will be two significant publications ensuing from this conference. Both publications are being managed by Art Education Australia, and conference articles that are accepted for publication will appear in the prestigious AEA journal. Under the previous ERA ranking systems the highly regarded peer-reviewed journal, Australian Art Education, was classified with an A+ ranking. The current Editor of Australian Art Education is Dr Christine Nicholls ().

The first AEA journal publication arising from the NVAEC conference (code-named 'Space-Hard Copy'), will comprise fully peer-reviewed articles chosen from papers presented at the conference. This journal will appear in hard copy form and on the AEA website for subscribers.

The second will be an online journal publication (code-named 'Space Online') and it will appear on the NVAEC website. It will comprise both conference articles (non-peer-reviewed) and possibly a number of selected refereed (ie. fully peer-reviewed) journal articles as well.

To have your article considered for publication you will need to be a financial member of Art Education Australia. It will be possible to join AEA, Australia's peak organisation for art educators, at the NVAEC conference - if you are not already a member.
